The Koan Dance Company is

a creation of Otacílio Melgaço

aimed at the confluence of

an artistic diversity - conceptual, aesthetic, choreographic - in progress. Dedicated to punctual spectacular events, special guests seasonally form

a "corporeality de ballet" in favor

of what Mr. Melgaço calls "Transkineticultural Apparitions".

Along with Brazilian motion designer

and ballerina Letícia Oliveira, such synesthetic interventions took place through the inaugural フリーフォール

Free Fall / Queda Livre presentation.

From the fundamental force of nature to the irrepressible metaphoricity, several possible connotations of

what we can intuit and understand

how Gravity (and its effects in each

pore of our apprehensions)
